Frances (Jernigan) ClarkJune 21, 1932 ~ December 4, 2017 (age 85)
Mrs. Frances Jernigan Clark, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday night, December 4, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 21, 1932, in Baker, FL., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Pasco and Nannie Hutchens Jernigan. She had been a resident of Clio for about 60 years and had retired from Highlander Industries as a quality manager. She enjoyed listening to music and the outdoors, especially gardening and landscaping. Mrs. Clark was a devoted mother, grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was a member of the Cheraw branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by a grandson, Russell Locklear of Maxton, NC; three granddaughters, Tringa Clark of Clio, Natasha “Nickie” Newberry and husband Wes and Noel Barrick and husband Shaun, both of Rockingham, NC; four sisters Eloise Crisp and husband Dave of Pensacola, FL., Mary Gamez and husband Bob of Castro Valley, CA, and Jorene Conn and Marie Lindsey both of Elba, Ala.. ten great-grandchildren, Frances Adora Clark of Laurinburg, Dylan Clark of Chester, VA, Heather Locklear, Nina Clark, Justin Locklear, Matthew Locklear, Joseph Locklear, Aria Barrick, Eli Barrick all of Rockingham and Zachary Anderson Columbia, SC, and two great-great grandchildren, Kennedy Hubbard and Carson Locklear.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Howard Clark; her daughter, Janet Elaine Clark Bullard and a sister, Marjorie Pridgen.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at McLucas Cemetery in Clio, SC. President Paul Brooks officiating
