Mrs. Barbara Hamilton Faulk, widow of William Race “W.R.’ Faulk, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after an illness. She was 81 years old.
Mrs. Faulk was born on June 25, 1938 in Dillon County, SC. She was a daughter of the late Robert Stephen and Lurline Sanders Hamilton. She was a dedicated employee with Oak River Mills serving 32 ½ years for MoHawk Industries. Mrs. Faulk enjoyed shopping, playing Bingo, word search, traveling to White Lake Campgrounds, the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with family.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; daughters, Debra “Debbie” Altman husband James of Bennettsville and Kristy Creech and husband Curtis of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Kelly Stone husband Chase of Bennettsville and Chandler Creech Larsen husband Eli of Bennettsville; great grandchildren, Blakley Stone and Rayce Stone.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above; sister, Maxine Hamilton Cottingham; brother, Robert Carroll Hamilton “Tebo”.
A graveside service will be held 3:00pm, Friday, November 22, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Park. A reception will be held for family and friends at Magnolia on Main immediately after the service.
