Mr. James Dunn Frazier passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 92 years old.
Mr. Frazier was born August 8, 1927 in Rockingham, NC, to the late Colin and Lula Mae Gibson Frazier. He was a retired machinist with United Technologies. He was a US Navy veteran and a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church since 1953, where he served as a deacon. He loved going to church and loved his church family. He loved to sing and work on cars and machines. Mr. Frazier was proud of his family and loved spending time with them. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Eladis Frazier of the home; sons, Jimmy Frazier (Cindy) of Clio, SC; Paul Frazier (Wendy) of Florence, SC; daughters, Judy Frazier Huggins (Nelson) of Bennettsville, SC; Amanda Frazier of Bennettsville, SC; brothers, Prentiss Alexander Frazier (Marie) of Fayetteville, NC; Noah Lee Frazier (Irmegard ) of Fayetteville, NC; daughter-in-law, Wanda Frazier of Bennettsville, SC; numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents listed above; son, Steve Frazier; brothers, Johnny, JT, and David Frazier; and sisters, Sally Dew, Louise Freeman, Pauline Rogers, and Nora Jane Pruitt.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. just prior to the service at the church.
