Mrs. Lillie Mae Dew Usher passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her residence after a sudden illness.
She was 81 years old. Mrs. Lillie was born in Bennettsville on May 8, 1939 to the late Coleman Beasley and Sally Susan Frazier Dew. She attended Bennettsville Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grand and great children. She also enjoyed listening to music, watching preaching, and gardening with her husband. \
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; husband of 65 years, Allen Austin Usher; son, Steve Allen Usher, Sr.; daughter, Betty Hale; brothers, Coleman Dew (Flora), Thomas Dew, and Prentiss Dew; sister, Marilyn Wilson Dew; grandchildren, Kimberly Nichols (Charles), Roger Hale, Kelly Hodge (William), and Steve Usher, Jr.; great grandchildren, Kimberly (Danny) Hicks, Betsy Grooms, Emily Nichols, Charles Nichols, Hannah Nichols, Roger Nichols, Tori Nichols, and Bryson Nichols, Erin Hale, Shane Usher, Jamison Usher, Austin Hodge, Evan Hale, Amber Hodge, Brantley Hodge, Bella Nichols, Kellie Hodge, William Hodge, Jr., great-great grandchildren, Kynslee Hicks, Paisley Hicks, Trinity Jones, and Kaleo Nichols.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, her twins, brothers, Carroll Beasley Dew, David Barnes Dew, Charles William Dew, grandchild, Rhonda Hale, and nephew, Devon Wilson.
A graveside service will be held 3pm, Friday, January 15, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service and Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 5-7pm at 551 Dundee Drive, Bennettsville, SC 29512.
